Sometimes it is just a matter of showing up and allowing God to work that helps plant seeds and bring hope and love to those in prison.
At a meeting in February, a volunteer heard the story of a participant who had lost two children, and how she felt so broken inside. This is a pain that no mother wants to ever experience and yet, here this woman sat pouring her heart out to the volunteer.
In this moment the volunteer shared how God can heal anything. The presence of our volunteers and their willingness to listen and be there for the broken, allowing God to work in those moments is so powerful.
