A young man who is part of our addiction recovery program was telling us about his rough childhood with abuse despite growing up in the church and the appearance on the outside of being from a “perfect Christian family.”
He said at the beginning of the night that he believes in some sort of God but not Jesus as the Son of God even though he is familiar with the bible.
At the end of the evening, when we asked one more time if anyone had anything else to share, or prayers requests, or questions he said, “I’ve got a question, so if I wanted to go to church, where would I start?”
WOW!!! Did God just do a work in his heart! Praise God. He took a Bible and was very thankful for our time together.
