The Connect Centre is Starting to See Traffic! Our daily drop-in ministry and resource centre opened on May 7th, with around 60 attendees, including Darren Young, President of Power to Change Canada, and other key representatives.

Initially, we saw a small number of visitors (4-6 weekly), but in the past two weeks, visits surged to 6-10 daily.

We’ve welcomed people from the streets, shelters, and rooming houses, providing essential resources like Bibles, including an Inuk Bible.

Many visitors shared touching stories, including a woman finding solace in our “Caring Conversation” sign and a student struggling with housing.

With increased regular visitors, we’re now focusing on building our volunteer teams and training them for book sales to spread the word about the centre even further.
