"So often in the news we hear about the struggle our country is facing with addictions and overdose. Each of these people struggling is an individual that God loves. Recently, at one of our women’s addiction recovery meetings we had a lady join. She shared how she almost died while in her addiction, but was spared her life and acknowledged that God spared her. Please pray that she continues to put her faith and life in Christ's hands."

"Sandy, who grew up with an alcoholic parent, carried deep pain until she found healing through God. Volunteering at an addiction rehab center, she was deeply moved by those suffering from addiction. One night, a man she had met just a week before returned completely transformed. Initially broken by a history of substance abuse and a painful life, he had found hope after Sandy-Lynn and her team prayed with him and gave him a Bible. When he returned, his eyes were bright, and he shared his joy openly—a transformation Sandy saw as a true miracle of God’s love and healing."
