Ministry Focus: Prison & Addiction Recovery 
Addiction and incarceration are deeply connected in Canada—7 out of 10 inmates struggle with substance use. Indigenous people, just 5% of the population, make up 32% of those in prison. The opioid crisis has claimed over 38,000 lives since 2016.
But there is hope! Through recovery programs and faith-based care, lives are being restored, and freedom is being found.
At Connecting Streams, we train volunteers to bring the love of Christ to those behind bars and in addiction recovery. Our Christ-centered 12-step program provides a safe space for healing, accountability, and transformation.
