A newly participating widow was listening to the facilitator share her story of Jesus and the impact He has had in her life particularly as she has navigated her widowhood. The participant admitted that she did go to a youth group as a teen where she committed her life to Jesus.
However, she had not been in church or had not considered Jesus for decades. Her adult life and marriage relationships did not include Him.
The sharing brought her to tears and reignited a desire in her to live for Jesus. She recommitted her life to Him. She is on a journey and Widow to Widow is providing a venue for her to explore her faith. She has found her way back to a journey with Jesus.
