A Glimpese of Heaven
✨ A Moment of Joy
 
A resident’s face lit up as she laboured to roll her wheelchair into the usual spot for the dining room. But today was different. As she turned the corner, she was greeted by the sweet sounds of her favourite hymn, “How Great Thou Art.” Her eyes scanned the room, and her gaze fell upon six new volunteers, all smiling and singing with gusto. Her heart swelled with joy, and a sense of community washed over her.
 
✨ A Sense of Belonging
 

As she listened to the music, she felt a deep sense of connection to the people around her. She thought to herself, “This is what it means to be part of a community that cares.” The volunteers’ enthusiasm was infectious, and Laura found herself singing along, her voice weak but full of conviction. In this moment, she felt seen, heard, and valued.

As she looked around the room, she felt a glimpse of heaven on earth. The music, the smiles, and the sense of community all combined to create a sense of transcendence. She thought, “This is what it means to be loved and cared for.” In this moment, her spirit soared, and she felt a deep sense of peace and joy.
