Long Term & Continuing Care Facilities Opportunities

Volunteers of all ages and with many different interests serve as a vital part of our long-term and continuing care teams. They receive ongoing training and support from both the facility volunteer coordinator and Connecting Streams. You will assist with meaningful activities that make a positive difference to the lives of the residents in long term and continuing care communities.

People choose to volunteer for many reasons including responding to God’s call into this specific ministry, to improve the quality of life for members of their community, share their talents, fulfill hours for education, to share their gifts and talents and to grow in skills and experience.

We are developing teams for the following:

  • Pastoral volunteer visiting
  • Bible study leaders
  • Musicians
  • Hymn sing leaders
  • Hymn sing volunteers
  • Worship leaders
  • Worship volunteers
  • Small group leaders
