Connecting Streams in Saskatoon

A note from Wilna, Connecting Streams Leader in Saskatoon

It’s been a month since our first announcement regarding Connecting Streams Saskatoon, and many of you have connected with me since then! The New Year started and we are almost in the middle of January already!  Time certainly flies and this reminded me that: We were all born for such a TIME as this and for this very occasion (Esther 4:14).  This means you and I live here and now, for a reason and a purpose!  God made all men/women to settle on the face of the earth, having definitely determined their allotted periods of TIME and the fixed boundaries of their habitations (Acts 17:26).  He is waiting for us to answer and respond to the divine CALLING which we all have received (Eph 4:4).

According to the dictionary “CALL or CALLING” can have many meanings and the following particularly ministered to me as I read it:

  • A divine vocation or strong inner prompting to a particular course of action
  • Available for use

What is God prompting you to do? Are you available for use? Any time! Any where! At any cost! To do anything!

Is your answer YES to the CALL on your life?  Are you ready to obediently follow Jesus into a hurting world?

We have been praying for you and hope that God is leading you to get involved with Connecting Streams here in Saskatoon.  OnFebruary 5th at Rock of Ages Church at 7-9pm we will be sharing vision, what it means to be team leader, possible venues, volunteering, orientation and training and the next steps.  Please mark your calendars!
